New Stats!!!

Unfortunately since starting my job working out kinda took to the back burner so I wasn't as vigilant as I was before so these stats are from from the last 2 months. My last measurement date was Nov. 30th, that month was a GREAT month. I lost a total of 12 in. This time around my stats aren't too impressive, although I am VERY HAPPY with them, I just know that if I would have stuck with working out 5 days a week like I was they could have been better.

Neck (-.5)
Bicep (-1.5) wearing tank tops this summer will soon be a reality.
Forearm (-1)
Chest (-2.5)
Waist (-2)
Hips (-3)
Thigh (-0) very depressed about this
Calf (-0) I don't think I will see a change here. I have gotten 0 for the past 2 months.

Total : -10.5 inches

It's all about Circuit Training.

Everyone has been asking me..."how did you do it...most importantly how did you do it so fast?" The secret is circuit training, or sometimes known as H.I.T. (high intensity training). Now what exactly is that you may be wondering. To put it simply its a mixture of intense 30 sec. intervals of cardio followed by strength training toning moves with no rest between sets. One session is usually made up of anywhere from 3-5 circuits. An example of this would be 30 sec. of jumping jacks followed by a set of 15 bicep curls, followed by 30 sec. of butt-kicks. If you are a fan of the show The Biggest Loser you have seen circuit training in action. It's intense and burns more calories then traditional cardiovascular exercise alone. I love it because its a way of getting my heart rate up so I am getting that great cardio workout but I am also toning and strengthening my muscles at the same time without taking too much time out of my already very busy day. If you have ever been curious about this type of workout try it, you'll get results.

Update and Picture Time!!!

So I know I have been terrible at keeping my blog up since I have started working. All I can say is sorry everyone. Things have been going pretty good. I am still losing weight, eating well, and trying to exercise whenever I can. I have to say that working outside the home does indeed make thing a lot more challenging. I really had it good while I was able to be a stay at home mom. I'm lucky if I work out twice a week sometimes, but that is okay. I still make sure to keep my diet on point and continue to strive to make healthy, smart food decisions everyday. So far I have lost 40 lbs. and am now down to a size 18. When I started my journey I was a size 24-26..more of a 26 and am so so ecstatic to where I am today. Part of my New Year's Resolution is to jump back on the fitness track and get at least 3 good workouts in a week and to just keep eating well. I have to keep this sweet and short, but I have some pics for you guys. I hope you enjoy and are doing well on your own personal journeys.

Love,
Stephanie
